Are you concerned about Speeding in the neighborhood?

Do you wish your street had sidewalks?

Here is your chance to make your voice heard!  But you have to Hurry.  Time is running out!  Take the Innovate Pasco Survey by January 31, 2024 to help Gulf Harbors be a part of the Pasco County Long-Range Transportation Plan.

Our neighbor Ray Celli serves on the Citizens Advisory Committee (“CAC”) of our Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (“MPO”) as a representative of County Commissioner Starkey’s District 3.

Ours is one of the fastest growing Counties in the United States.  We now have 600,000 residents, up 30% from 465,000 in 2010.  The MPO’s primary function is transportation planning at strategic and tactical levels.  Its most important and challenging responsibility is to conduct long-range planning for the County’s dynamic transportation needs.  Over the course of this year the MPO is undertaking “Innovate Pasco”, a Long-Range Transportation Plan (“LRTP”) to identify current and anticipated transportation needs in the County to the year 2050.  It will consider all modes of transportation, including motorized vehicles, public transportation, bicycles, walking, freight and goods movement, and air travel.  The following link connects to the LRTP website: https://innovatepasco.com/.

The LRTP planning process includes a survey to gather information from the community that will guide priorities for the planning team.  This survey provides a strong opportunity for Gulf Harbots residents to express our interests and promote our priorities for incorporation in the County-wide planning.  The following link connects to the survey: https://live.metroquestsurvey.com/?u=9nf4b#!/?p=web&pm=dynamic&s=1&popup=WTD. The survey is open until the end of January.  Please take few minutes to participate in the survey.
